The MTSC programme would like to thank the Ayala Foundation, Inc. for granting MTSC scholarships to citizens of the Philippines starting from the 2016-17 cohorts (see below). 

Ayala Foundation, Inc.As the social development arm of the Ayala group of companies, Ayala Foundation Inc. (AFI) develops, implements, and sustains programs in various fields of social and cultural development. Its four core programs are Education, Youth Leadership, Sustainable Livelihood, and Arts and Culture. As a strong believer in creating shared value, it recognizes that social progress should go hand in hand with economic progress. By creating shared value, Ayala Foundation seeks to bridge business and social development, with a strong multistakeholder approach.

 

The MTSC programme would like to thank The Ngee Ann Kongsi for granting The Ngee Ann Kongsi Postgraduate Scholarships in Social Sciences to three students from the 2016-17 cohort and to 2 students from the 2017-18 cohort.

The Ngee Ann Kongsi: Founded in 1845, The Ngee Ann Kongsi is a Teochew foundation actively involved in educational, cultural and welfare activities in Singapore. While the initial objectives of Kongsi were to attend to the religious and welfare needs of Teochew immigrants, the Foundation has evolved to become a significant contributor towards the enrichment of Singapore society. 

About The Ngee Ann Kongsi Post-Graduate Scholarships in Social SciencesThe Ngee Ann Kongsi Post-Graduate Scholarships in Social Sciences were launched in 2015 with the aim to attract more to join professions that meet the needs of an aging population. Up to 12 scholarships a year will be offered to deserving students in any of the local autonomous universities and SIM University.

  

MTSC Scholarship

Singapore Management University invites employees of non-profit organisations, or individuals not employed by for-profit businesses or governments to apply for tuition assistance. For applicants from other organisations (i.e. private or public sectors), applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Limited funds are available from SMU for outstanding applicants, with preference given to those from non-profit or non-governmental organisations.

To apply: The scholarship application is now integrated with the application form. All applicants are required to submit an application essay specifying the name of the Scholarship. 

Suggested content: 

  • Reasons for applying for scholarship.
  • Why the Scholarship Committee should award you the scholarship.
  • Details of what you will do with the knowledge gained from the MTSC programme.
  • How you will commit to giving back to your country, society or organisation.
  • Alternative funding plans if no scholarship is awarded. 

Terms and conditions:

  • The applicant must be accepted into the MTSC programme to be eligible for scholarship support.
  • The scholar must maintain a consistent grade average of B or above.

Ayala MTSC Scholarship

Singapore Management University invites interested applicants who are citizens of the Philippines (civil society/government sectors only) to apply for the Ayala Master of Tri-Sector Collaboration (MTSC) Scholarship, for the incoming cohort (2017-18). Applicants should demonstrate leadership qualities and aptitude to excel in the Programme and potential to contribute to the sector/ bigger community. The Ayala MTSC Scholarship is worth between S$25,000 and S$50,000 each. Up to four such scholarships may be awarded annually.

Eligibility: Open to citizens of the Philippines who are in the civil society or government sectors only, regardless of race or gender. 

To apply: The scholarship application is now integrated with the application form. All applicants are required to submit an application essay specifying the name of the Scholarship.

  • Why the Scholarship Committee should award you the scholarship. 
  • Details of what you will do with the knowledge gained from the MTSC programme.

  • The applicant must be accepted into the MTSC programme to be eligible for scholarship support.
  • The scholar must maintain a consistent grade average of B or above.
  • The remaining tuition fees not covered by the Scholarship will be billed to the student in accordance with the MTSC fee schedule
