SMU Behavioural Sciences Institute Director Professor David Chan explained the psychology of ambivalent feelings and thoughts experienced by people deciding whether to report to the authorities their family or friends who are or may be radicalised. He highlighted the importance of creating a climate of trust where people feel safe and secure to report such cases.
