The School of Social Sciences, Singapore Management University is pleased to announce that the ISA Global South Caucus Conference 2015, Singapore - Voices from Outside: Re-shaping International Relations Theory and Practice in an Era of Global Transformation from January 8th-10th, 2015 will be held at the Singapore Management University. The School of Social Sciences is co-hosting the conference with ISA Global South Caucus (GSCIS).
About the Conference
The Global South Caucus of the International Studies Association (GSCIS) aims to promote new thinking about the global south and developing Eurasia, facilitate south-south intellectual exchanges, and increase the scope and depth of collaboration between scholars interested in studying the global south in general. In 2012 the caucus held its first Global South International Studies Conference which brought together scholars and practitioners working on the theme, Theorizing, Teaching, Research, and Publishing on IR in the Global South. Following up on ideas generated at that conference, the second GSCIS conference, to be held in Singapore, January 8-10, 2015, will have as its theme: Voices from Outside: Re-shaping International Relations Theory and Practice in an Era of Global Transformation.

Special Registration Fees for Local Observers
For those who wish to attend the conference as observers (not presenting on the programme but full access to all panels), a special onsite registration of $50 SGD for SMU faculty and $35 SGD for postgraduate students from NUS, NTU, SUTD, UniSIM (with a valid student ID) are available.
