Double Degree or Second Majors from Other Schools
DOUBLE DEGREES
BSocSc students like any other students in SMU can choose to combine a double degree from Accountancy, Business Management, Economics, Information Systems Management, or Law*. Upon successful completion, students receive two degree certificates.
BSocSc students must declare a first major in any of the three disciplines: Psychology, Political Science, and Sociology, by the end of their second year of study.
*To do a double degree programme at the School of Law, a student must first be offered admission into the School of Law.
SECOND MAJORS & TRACKS
Students may choose to declare a second major in another social science discipline (Political Science, Psychology, or Sociology) or in one of the three multidisciplinary second majors offered by the School of Social Sciences or second major offered by another school in SMU:
