On 8 June 2017, the School of Social Sciences hosted a private forum for 40 participants at the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore on the topic of The End of the American Pacific Century: Is Trump Pivoting Away From Asia? The Donald Trump Presidency has generated uncertainty about US policy towards Asia with greater potential of economic frictions with China and doubts on US security commitment.
