The Centre for Research on Successful Ageing (ROSA) held its Annual Symposium, themed Advancing Healthy Ageing – Nurturing the Health Capital of Older Adults on Nov 1, where experts from Germany, Japan, Scotland and Singapore discussed the key social, psychological, economic and healthcare factors that will facilitate a longer healthspan. In an interview, SMU Dean of Students and Director of ROSA Professor Paulin Straughan – who was moderator of the keynote panel discussion – shared her thoughts on the key takeaways from the symposium, as well as the new ideas that could potentially work for Singapore.
