Asst Prof Ho also questioned the fairness of rules favouring alumni or parents who volunteer, suggesting that tightening the process requires re-examining these unequal advantages. She concluded that while schools provide online information, parents mainly seek other parents’ experiences, a gap that more transparent processes should address.
