Good Grade' for Race Ties; Study Shows Bonds Strengthened Between 2007 and Last Year

SMU Associate Professor Kirpal Singh commented on the results of a study conducted by NTU's S Rajaratnam School of International Studies which showed that multicultural harmony has strengthened over the last five years. "While I don't think it captures the totality of views, it does, however, reassure us that Singaporeans are willing to change and remain open-minded, rather than deeply prejudiced and narrowly anchored in old-fashioned, uneducated silos," he said.
