To reflect the changes, the English paper for the Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) in 2015 will also be tweaked. Associate Professor Kirpal Singh, Director at the Wee Kim Wee Centre at SMU, shared his views on how children will benefit from the change and whether the new PSLE English paper will be fairer or will penalize those who do not have a strong foundation in the language.
