In the Lives Less Ordinary Podcast, SMU graduand Joelyn Carmen Chong shared that while pursuing her degrees in Sociology and Public Policy, she was also launching ventures in education, sustainability and AI - all driven by a desire to create meaningful change. Joelyn mentioned that she started her first business before university. She added that during the COVID-19 pandemic, she spent her time volunteering and interning, which shaped her perspective on studying and going to university.
