Commenting on the trend of a growing number of seniors finding love and getting married in the autumn of their lives, SMU Dean of Students and Professor of Sociology (Practice) Paulin Straughan said, "The notion of falling in love is not age-specific. We do fall in love at different stations and stages of our life course. And marriage is not just about procreation and raising children, it is also about nurturing a committed companionship between two mature adults."
