SMU hosted the fifth and final episode of Perspectives Season 8 “Decline of Liberal Democracy and the Rise of China: Has ASEAN given in to the temptation?” on 3 April 2019 which featured an esteemed panel of thought leaders including SMU Chairman Mr Ho Kwon Ping and Prof John A Donaldson, Associate Professor of Political Science, SMU. The panel discussion was an insightful one where a diverse set of viewpoints regarding the state of liberal democracy were shared.
