SMU graduate actively helps migrant workers, broadens perspectives

SMU alumna Siti Noormasliana Noorazman shared that the most valuable thing she took away from university was not a degree but a new perspective on humanity, especially the migrant worker community. She recalled when SMU required students to complete 80 hours of community service, adding that her perspective on the migrant community was shaped by the Candela Project, an initiative she set up with a few friends during her first year at SMU. She hopes that the experiences she gained during her four years at SMU will continue to shape the way she serves society.
