SMU Assistant Professor of Arts and Cultural Management (Practice) David Ocon believes that the SG Heritage Business Scheme will significantly enhance the visibility and legitimacy of heritage businesses. He explained that the official SG Heritage Business mark will help both locals and tourists easily identify and support these businesses and reinforce their cultural value. He added that the scheme's provision for marketing exposure through national events and heritage platforms, along with consultancy support, will help these businesses adapt to changing consumer trends and digital demands.
