In an interview, SMU Assistant Professor of Sociology Yasmin Ortiga shared how a group of researchers in Singapore and Philippines including herself came together to interview nurses in the Philippines to document what they were going through after the deployment ban on nurses was announced. Asst Prof Ortiga also discussed the impact of the deployment ban on the Filipino nurses.
