Abstract:

What is gratitude and what are its benefits? This seminar reviews recent psychological research and theories on gratitude. Topics include outcomes associated with gratitude, gratitude interventions that improve mental and physical health, and why, when, and for whom the practice of gratitude is useful. The seminar will conclude with suggestions for future research and practical recommendations for cultivating gratitude in one's life.
