As most of you would be thinking about graduating options and future careers, we would like to encourage you to learn more about academic careers and consider pursuing your psychology postgraduate education at SMU. You are cordially invited to attend the information session on PhD and Fast-Track MPhil in Psychology (Research) Programme.

About the PhD in Psychology (Research)

The PhD in Psychology Programme is designed to equip students with doctoral-level knowledge in research methodology and substantive content knowledge in psychology, with a focus on areas in experimental, social, personality and industrial-organisational psychology.

About the Fast-Track MPhil in Psychology (Research)

The Fast-Track MPhil in Psychology Programme is a 2-year programme open to Year 4 SMU undergraduates interested in developing knowledge in research methodology and substantive content knowledge in psychology, with a focus on areas in experimental, social, personality and industrial-organisational psychology. The FTMP would enable students to earn a master's degree in psychology one year after graduating. It is ideal for students who wish to strengthen their training in psychological/behavioral research—especially those who seek additional preparation for graduate studies in psychology (e.g. PhD programmes).
