SOSS warmly welcomed five new graduate students into our PhD in Psychology programme this year. We managed to get a chance to ask each of them to tell us a bit more about themselves.

Going to the University of British Columbia (UBC) for exchange was by far one of the best experiences of my undergraduate life. It was challenging and overwhelming at times, but also such an incredibly exciting and transformative few months. I miss UBC and Vancouver so much and I wish I could re-live exchange.

This June, a group of us from various SMU schools embarked on the Arts and Culture Management Study Mission (ACMSM) to the Venice Biennale and Documenta. Each carrying a passion and interest in championing the arts, we went with open minds and excited hearts towards a timely opportunity to engage with the art world at this pinnacle collision of two important mega-art exhibitions.
